More About Bethany

Bethany's training and experience includes the following areas of practice and specialty:

Bethany initially trained in EMDR in 2008 and is a certified EMDR therapist. Additionally, she is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. She has provided EMDR in hundreds of sessions and has witnessed deep and lasting healing with this approach. She offers intensives for clients and advanced consultation for clinicians with a focus on integrating Internal Family Systems. Additionally, she offers individual and group consultation for certification in EMDR.

Additionally, she has studied with HeatherAsh Amara, author of numerous books and courses, since 2015. This work is rooted in Toltec Traditions as taught by Don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements. Her study with HeatherAsh Amara integrates Toltec Philosophy, Buddhism, nature based spirituality and she is Level 3 Certified in Warrior Goddess Training. She has a passion for transpersonal psychotherapy and blending nature based practices into her therapy with clients to facilitate a sense of belonging and feeling connected to something greater than themselves.

She began learning about parts work in 2004 at the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies and integrated this model into her private practice offering individual therapy and group therapy. This evolved into a curiosity for Internal Family Systems. She completed an introductory training with Frank Anderson in 2014, followed by extensive personal study as well as her own individual IFS therapy. She strongly believes in experiential learning and that one can only take a client as deep inside as you can go yourself. She completed Level 1 IFS training in 2022 and Level 2 training in Intimacy From the Inside Out (a comprehensive couple therapy model) in April of 2024. She is IFS Certified and is currently working toward becoming an IFS consultant.
